Arduino
Arduino is usually taught at college level in Malaysia. Here, older kids move from blocks to real text-based code in C++. They wire circuits with LEDs, buzzers, motors and sensors, write the code that controls them, and design parts with 3D modelling. Every month ends with a project, and the year ends with a Final Year Project (FYP) they plan and build themselves.
What they learn
- Text-based coding in C++
- Electronics: circuits, components and safe wiring
- Reading sensors and controlling motors
- 3D modelling for their own parts
How the year runs
- A new project every month
- Skills build on each other across the year
- A Final Year Project to finish
- Students bring their own laptop and buy a starter kit if they need one
Good for: kids who finished Curo AI, or older kids who want to understand how real electronics work. A strong head start for secondary school science and engineering.
